The NYC chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino is offering a special hike on July 20 (rain date July 27). This will be different from our customary Caminitos. It is a strenuous hike to the top of Anthony’s Nose, situated in the rugged hills rising from the east bank of the Hudson River. This outing is for experienced hikers, and hiking boots and trekking poles are strongly recommended. The views from the top are spectacular. At the halfway point we will stop for lunch and a shell ceremony for first-time pilgrims. If you are planning a Camino in the 2nd half of 2024 and would like to participate in the shell ceremony, please let us know in advance. In any case, RSVPs are very much appreciated! Please email the NYC chapter co-coordinators so we know you’re coming.
