Houston, Texas: Texas Gulf Coast Chapter, Pop-up Walk at Hermann Park

Join us for a walk around Hermann Park and the Bayou Parkland along Brays Bayou Greenway. The walk will start and conclude at the entrance of the McGovern Centennial Gardens, 1500 Hermann Drive. There is plenty of free parking in Parking Lot C next to the Garden and accessible from Hermann Drive.

This route is approximately 5 miles / 8 kilometers with a bathroom and water stops along the way. Come prepared for the day’s weather forecast! Bring weather appropriate attire, water, sunscreen, a hat, and good cheer. We will walk on a mix of surfaces — dirt trail, asphalt, and concrete.

After we conclude you can participate or observe the Airbnb’s / FIFA World Cup 2026 Houston Host Committee attempt to set an official Guinness World Records title for the longest continuous line of soccer balls in Hermann Park.
