Hopkins MN: Minnesota Chapter, Hike Historic Hopkins

Join your host, Mike Breckenridge, for a six mile walk through the northeast corner of historic Hopkins, Minnesota. We’ll meet at Mike’s apartment building, Central Park Manor, 1510 Mainstreet, Hopkins between 12:45 and 1PM. Parking is available both in the apartment building’s lot and on the street.

This will be an urban hike that weaves its way through the residential streets of central Hopkins before connecting to a walking path that runs along Minnehaha Creek and then finishing with a stroll down Mainstreet (which is on the register of historic places) and ending at Cream & Amber, a local cafe and book store featuring hot sandwiches, fresh coffee, hot chocolate, baked goods with a rotating selection of beer & wine. Those that have time can enjoy a treat and share Camino tales. Cream & Amber is half a block from our starting point.

The entire route is paved. Please dress for the weather and enjoy an exhilarating winter walk!
