Grinnell, IA: Iowa Chapter, Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve Hike

We will move off the beaten path this month and visit the Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve just off Interstate 80 near Grinnell, IA. We plan to meet at the shelter in the Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve and will hike the 5.3 mile loop on a mowed and dirt path. This route is a chapter favorite! Bring water, and a snack/lunch if you want to gather at the conclusion of our hike. Directions: Jacob Krumm Nature Preserve is located ¼ mile north of the Lynnville exit, off I-80. Follow Jacob Avenue east to the preserve’s entrance.
