DIRECTIONS: US60 East to Greenfield. South to Guadalupe Rd. East to Library (715 N Greenfield Road) lot on the SW corner of Greenfield & Guadalupe. Meet at the farthest EAST end of the Library parking lot. There are restrooms at the north and south sides.

Easy social walk in mostly shaded Gilbert Riparian Preserve

Time: ~ 1.5 hours (leisurely pace)
The Gilbert Riparian Preserve is a unique place in the Valley with ponds that attract all kinds of birds and a nice mostly shaded path to beat the heat. This area is worth the trip where more than 300 species of birds have been seen. You are welcome to bring your binoculars but if you are a birder seeking frequent stops, plan on coming back to spend more time at this great birding spot. Learn more about Gilbert Riparian Preserve.
BRING: Walking shoes, water, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen. Your entire family, a bird book and binoculars are optional.
