Galloway, Ohio: Central Ohio Chapter, Darby Creek Metropark Hike

Meet in front of Rangers’ Station in the CEDAR RIDGE AREA (NOT bison area or Indian Ridge area). We will walk 6.2 miles on gravel and dirt trails, hiking the Cobshell, Ancient and Terrace Trails. Mostly shaded but some meadow area. We will take a short rest break in the Indian Ridge area so you might want to bring water and a snack. May want to bring bug spray. Wear hiking boots or footwear suited for uneven terrain. Trails are well maintained but may be wet or a little muddy from recent rains. A couple gentle ascents and descents and one moderate ascent(at least it felt moderate to me with a 12# pack!). Feel free to train with your backpack. Restrooms available along trail. Rain or shine but will be cancelled if there are thunderstorms!
