Please join chapter member, Jim Doman, on April 6 at 9:30 am at the Monocacy Battlefield Visitor Center for a hike around the battlefield. Due to the battlefield being crisscrossed by I-270 and the Monocacy River the hike will be done in three segments of varying length for a total distance of just over 7 miles. There will be short drives to access the different segments. Pilgrims will be provided a driving map at the start. The terrain is relatively flat and easy to walk. Jim will lead the hike on the Junction trail, Best Farm trail, Worthington Ford trail, Brooks Hill trail, Gambrill Mill trail, and Upper Gambrill Mill trail. Click here for information about each leg of the hike.

After the hike, returns to the Visitor Center, pilgrims visit the museum or have a late lunch at the Monocacy Crossing restaurant.
