Fernandina Beach, FL, Jacksonville Chapter, Fort Clinch State Park Hike

We will hike along the 6 mile nature trail. It’s a beautiful undulating trail under a rich canopy of oaks. Please bring water and insect repellent. Hiking poles are recommended; it is a dirt trail with some roots exposed and mild hills. Meet at the Visitor Center parking lot, located at the northern end of the park and approximately 3 miles from the Park Entrance. Entry fee into the park is $4 for one person in a vehicle and $6 fee per vehicle with 2 or more passengers. If you wish to visit Fort Clinch Fort, there is an additional fee of $2.50. Join us for lunch immediately following the hike in the historic town of Fernandina Beach (restaurant: TBD).
