Fairfax VA: Capital Area Chapter, Annual Chapter Potluck and Meeting

Our annual potluck featuring wonderful Spanish food, wine, and beverages will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026, from 1-4pm at St. Mary’s Church (5222 Sideburn Road) in Fairfax, VA. Bring your favorite Spanish dish (hors d’oeuvre, entree, dessert, or anything else you would like) and/or beverage (including Spanish wine or beer) to share with your fellow pilgrims! The food has been amazing in the past!

New this year will be a free book and gear exchange. You can bring any books, gear, or Camino-related equipment that you would like to share with fellow pilgrims. You might find what you need for your next Camino. We are excited because this year we have a much larger venue that accommodates 100+ people. This is double what we had last year!

The event will start with everyone enjoying the wonderful food and lots of conversation with fellow pilgrims. Following that, we will have an important business meeting. We will review our strong list of activities in 2025. We will then review our currently planned activities and highlight some new activities. We will be asking for your ideas on what you would like to see in 2026.

The big reason we had a strong 2025 was that many folks stepped up with their ideas and willingness to assist with planning and execution of events. We will be asking for more volunteers for next year. Please think about how you can help. We want to make 2026 even better than 2025!
