Ellisville, MO: St. Louis Chapter, Camino 101 Program

EVENT DESCRIPTION

Amy Horton, co-coordinator of the St. Louis Chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino will present “Camino 101: Intro to the Camino de Santiago”. Amy walked the Camino Francés from León, Spain, in 2016, and the Camino Portugués from Porto, Portugal in 2018. She is also currently scheduled to walk the Camino Inglés from Ferrol, Spain, starting in late August.

This Camino 101 program provides an overview of Camino de Santiago routes, insights on the Camino experience and types of overnight accommodations, and tips on training and deciding what to carry in your backpack.

Members of the Pathfinder congregation, St. Louis pilgrims, and those curious about the Camino/pilgrimage are invited to attend this free event. There will be time for Q&A. We also encourage experienced pilgrims to attend to interact with prospective pilgrims and offer a variety of perspectives during the fellowship time following the formal program.
