Dayton MN: Minnesota Chapter, The Global Camino Hike

On Saturday, January 10, 2026, the Minnesota Chapter will again join pilgrims from all over the world for the Global Camino! The Global Camino is the brain child of our friends at the Australian Pilgrims on the Camino. As they walk in Tasmania on January 10 & 11 (in lovely 70 degree weather), they’ve asked pilgrims across the globe to join them, wherever they may be, and post photos of themselves walking on the Australian event page. The Minnesota Chapter will hike at Elm Creek Park beginning and ending at Eastman Nature Center. The length of this walk is entirely weather dependent. At this point, save the date. More details will follow as the Global Camino draws closer and we have a better understanding of the snow and cold. This event is more about camaraderie, photo ops, and hot chocolate, than it is about distance or braving the elements.
