DIRECTIONS/PARKING: Drive about .5 mile west on Hwy 14 out of Cross Plains, turn North (right) on Hwy KP for .3 miles, turn West (left) on Scheele Rd for .4 miles (Scheele Rd is gravel). At the end of the road there is a sharp right turn that leads to the parking lot at the base of the bluff. Once parked, follow the marked trail on the west side up the bluff to the pavilion (visible from the road). You will need to carry tapas and beverages up to the pavilion.

FACILITIES/RESTROOM INFO: There are no sources of water available, so bring your own! There is a porta-potty on the bluff near the pavilion.

HIKING: Hiking poles are recommended. We plan to hike about 2 hours, 4 to 4.5 miles. Located in the Driftless Area of southwestern Wisconsin, the Table Bluff Segment traverses restored prairie as well as steep, rocky slopes. There are approximately 200 feet of total vertical relief and several vistas from the heads of two valleys and two prominent goat prairies that offer great views of the Driftless Area. The Table Bluff Segment offers long ridgetop views and showcases the results of some remarkable land stewardship efforts.

TAPAS: Bring a dish or beverage to share and a drinking cup. We will provide reusable plastic plates and forks. Bring a donativo if you wish to take home a Chapter Patch for your pack.

Please RSVP by Monday, August 11 if you are attending so we can have reusable name tags ready. Thank you!
