Chadds Ford, PA: Philadelphia Chapter, Camino Walk and Wine

Join us for a 5-mile walk through Chadds Ford! We’ll walk a combination of trails that run through meadows and meander along the Brandywine River. We’ll even cross some boardwalks through wetlands and pass the studios of Andrew and N.C. Wyeth!

This is a diverse walk over mostly flat paths (dirt and grass), though there are a couple short sections that seem to be perpetually wet and boggy (so, your shoes may get muddy).

We’ll meet at the Chadds Ford Township building at 10 Ring Rd, Chadds Ford, PA 19317. As you’re driving towards the township building you’ll see a small parking lot directly in front of you (parking here is fine), but if you continue past the building and down to the playground, you’ll find a larger lot. We’ll meet here! There’s a porta potty in this lot, which is the only bathroom opportunity along the way.

After the walk, for those who want to join, we’ll head to Chadds Ford Winery to sit outside and enjoy a glass (bottle?) of wine. There are sometimes food trucks here and they sell a few snacks, but if you want to eat, bring your own picnic lunch! For anyone who likes cheese, bring your favorite to share with the group and we can have our own wine and cheese tasting.
