Busse Woods – Elkgrove, IL: Chicago Chapter, July Hike

Our July hike will be at Busse Woods, Cook County Forest Preserve. We will meet at Grove #27, which is located in Elk Grove Village, IL on Arlington Heights Road. The walk is a loop trail that goes around the lake and passes through a variety of landscapes. There are good views of the lake, open rolling savannas and a shady walk through the woods, that includes a large elk enclosure.
