Bethesda MD: Capital Area Chapter, Capital Crescent Trail Hike

Join Chapter member David Bennett for a hike on Little Falls and Capital Crescent Trails to C&O Canal and Georgetown. Return by Glover-Archbold Trail and Massachusetts Ave. The hike is approximately 8.5 miles with moderate difficulty (hard surface/packed surface, wooded stream valley). Return is along Massachusetts. Ave. (~1.5 mi.) either on foot or by taking Metrobus (bring your own pass). Bring water, electrolytes, sun and insect protection. Opportunity for food and drink in Spring Valley, close to the end of the hike.
Meeting point: Westmoreland Congregational UCC Church parking lot. 1 Westmoreland Circle, Bethesda, MD 20814.
Entrance to the lot is between Duvall Dr. and Westmoreland Circle on Mass. Ave. Metrobus and Ride On stops nearby.
