Join us on May 14th for a 6 mile hike in Assategue Island National Seashore. We will gather at 9:30am at the Assateague Island Visitor Center at 311800 Marsh View Lane; Berlin, MD. Please note that the visitor center is before you cross the bridge. We will drive as a group into the national seashore and park at the North Ocean parking lot.
We will be walking on asphalt, raised boardwalks, crushed shell/stones and on sand. The estimated time of the hike is about 2 hrs 30 minutes. There are several restrooms along the way. Please make sure you have sunscreen, water, and bug spray.
The hike is in a fee area. The daily fee is $25. The annual federal parks passes are accepted.
Pack a lunch and we will gather at the picnic tables after our hike.
