DIRECTIONS: From Tramway, turn east onto Simms Park Road. After the entrance booth, keep going to the right and follow the road in a circle until you get back by the entrance booth again. Turn down the road to the right to the Cottonwood Springs Trail. There are restrooms at that parking lot. The parking area here is typically less crowded than the one on the top of the road.

To obtain an Open Space Annual Pass for $30.00 and valid for one year, go to the City of Albuquerque Open Space web page and order online. It can also be purchased at Elena Gallegos if the entrance booth has someone working there. Otherwise, bring cash for entering the area. It is $1.00 per weekday per vehicle. The fee can be paid at one of three self-serve stations at trailheads.
