Albuquerque, NM: Albuquerque Chapter, Los Poblanos Spring Equinox Walk

The walking route I will take you on is approximately 3.93 miles in length. This walk is on gravel and dirt pathways through wildlife habitats and an active farming area. It is a slightly different route than in previous years. We will wind through Los Poblanos Fields, go along the irrigation ditches, and through Grecian Park. There is a Porta Potty in the parking lot, and one in the community garden.
No need for hiking poles. Elevation gain is 89 feet. Dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water, snacks if desired, a hat, and sunscreen.
Carpool to Los Poblanos if you like. Typically there is adequate parking available in a large parking area.
Approximate time allowed for the walk depends on how fast or leisurely everyone is walking. Allow a minimum of 1.5 hours.
