Four Parks Walk in the NE Heights, Albuquerque

Meet at the corner of Shirley St. NE and Baldwin Ave. NE
Park on the street and not in the church parking lot.
Our walk will be about five miles in length, with a 241-foot elevation gain. Allow two hours to complete this walk. The parks we will walk through are Jeanne Bellamah Park, Summer Hills Park, Bianchetti Park, and Chelwood Park. The Lomas Tramway Library is very near Chelwood Park and we could stop in there to use the restrooms if necessary. There are few places along the way to use a restroom. This walk will be along city sidewalks.
Bring water, snacks if desired, sunscreen, and a hat. Dress appropriately for the weather. No hiking poles are necessary.
If desired, after the walk we could meet at La Salita Mexican Restaurant at 1950 Juan Tabo Blvd. NE for lunch.
