Walk through the beautiful Elena Gallegos foothills area for about 2-2.5 hours over varied terrain. Bring hiking poles and dress warmly as it could be cold this time of year. Bring snacks and water. You will have to pay a nominal fee for parking at the Elena Gallegos picnic area. Following the walk, we will meet at the Starbucks at 11321 Montgomery Blvd. NE for a hot beverage.
