Join us for an eight mile hike on the Bay Circuit Trail. This is a one-way hike, we will leave cars at the endpoint. You must pre-register for this event.

HIKE DESCRIPTION: The selected trail is approximately 8 miles long. We will start in Acton and travel through Stoneymeade Conservation Land, cross into Concord entering Annursnac Conservation Land, then on through parts of the Minuteman National Historical Park. We’ll pass through Concord Conservation Land, then Concord center, ending with an easy walk through historical woods: Emerson-Thoreau Amble, Hapgood Wright Town Forest, and Thoreau Interpretive Path.

The wooded areas can be a bit wet, depending on recent weather, and there is a fair amount of walking on quiet roads. There are lots of historical sites to check out along the way as well.

We will end our hike just before getting to Rte 2. For those who are interested, you can continue on your own across Rte 2 to enter the Walden Pond State Reservation.
