It has been several years since we did an Urban walk around these wonderful and history-filled neighborhoods in Denver…and what better time than in February, Black History month! We will walk and talk and learn about the various peoples that settled here and called these neighborhoods home. And we will also learn about the “Red-lining” that occurred in Denver, and part of this area. We will be walking and talking along a 5 mile route, but it will take almost 3 hours as we will be talking a lot about the history of this wonderful area. So be sure to dress warmly and in layers. Post-walk, we will find a a pub in RiNo and have some Camino talk! Bring water to drink and be sure to have dealth with your “Nature Needs” prior to meeting us at 9:30. What: A 5 mile Urban walk around RiNo, Curtis Park and Five Points
Where: Meet at 25th & Arapahoe on the corner with Altius Farms; there is street parking around the neighbood.
When: Saturday, February 7th at 9:30 AM MST
