Seattle WA, Puget Sound Chapter, Second Sunday Stroll

The Sunday Strolls happens rain or shine, and no RSVP needed! If you are interested in walking with fellow pilgrims, consider joining us for a walk in the park.This is designed as either a 3 mile or a 6 mile walk from the Ballard Locks to Discovery Park, around the park and back. If you want to walk six miles, we’ll meet at 1:00 pm at the entrance to the Ballard (aka Chittenden) Locks, and depart at 1:15 pm for a stroll over to Discovery Park. If you want to walk only three miles, then join us at Discovery Park. We’ll arrive at the park corner of west Government Way and 36th Ave West at about 1:45. We’ll then leave from there on a 3 mile loop. Please note the times for the Second Sunday Strolls are as follows:

1:00 pm Start gathering at the entrance to the Ballard Locks (aka Chittenden Locks)
1:15 pm Leave Ballard Locks, walking to the Discovery Park Visitors Center
1:45 pm Arrive at park corner of west Government Way and 36th Ave West
1:45 pm Walking the Loop Trail back to the Visitor Center and then back to the Locks.

The pace will be not too fast, not too slow—probably around 2 miles per hour. But slow enough for good conversation!
