Belle Isle Park, known simply as Belle Isle, is a 982-acre island park in Detroit, Michigan, developed in the late 19th century. It consists of Belle Isle, an island in the Detroit River, and several surrounding islets. The U.S.-Canada border is in the channel south of Belle Isle. HOW TO ACCESS BELLE ISLE- Place the McArthur Bridge into your Map Search: Then...Enter Belle Isle from the McArthur Bridge, onto Sunset Drive, then quickly bear left onto Casino Way. Take a right onto the second street, Muse Road, which then doglegs left, becoming Loiter Way. Almost immediately on the right is the Remick Music Shell and Parking Lot, where we will gather.
Cost NOTE: Vehicles need a Recreation Passport or purchase a day pass ($13-14) at the park entrance.
