Bethesda MD: Capital Area Chapter, Cabin John Local Park Hike

Join Hike Leader David Bennett on a 7.5 mile hike along the Cabin John Stream Valley Trail. This is a well-maintained trail, largely in wooded areas with some hills and short sections of sidewalk. Those who use poles will find them helpful. Bring water, electrolytes, and a snack. Please, no pets and be prepared to Leave No Trace.
Meeting Point(s): Cabin John Regional Park. 7400 Tuckerman Lane, Bethesda, MD 20817.
Enter from Tuckerman Lane (not Westlake Drive!) and park in the spaces nearest to the playground ahead. We will then carpool to the Cabin John Local Park to start our hike in the upstream direction.
Northern Virginia hikers may find it easier to meet us directly at the Cabin John Local Park (7401 Macarthur Blvd, Cabin John, MD 20818) at 9:45am.
