WHO IS INVITED: Everyone from our chapter, whether or not you are walking. Friends and family are also welcome.

WHERE ON CAMPUS: Free parking is available in the main lot. The room we’ll be in is the Aural Umhoefer Administrative Building, Room A-001.

The easiest way to find the room: The building is second on the right. As you approach, there are outside stairs going down – go down the first flight, then stay to the right and go down the second set. We will be on the ground floor (entrance on the left). Signs will be set out to help guide our pilgrims – perhaps even with a yellow “arrow….” We’re practiced at following yellow arrows!

WHAT TO EXPECT: If you haven’t previously attended a Shell Ceremony, this is a time of sending, blessing, and celebrating for those who will walk a Camino this year.

You’ll receive your pilgrim shell for your backpack if you are a first-time pilgrim. If you are a returning pilgrim you’ll receive a tiny pilgrim charm for a zipper pull. If you’re not walking this year, you can offer your encouragement to these pilgrims. (Remember how nervous you were before you walked?)

WHAT TO BRING: Tapas or wine to share, and a donativo if you wish to take home a Chapter Patch for your pack. ***Since this is a college campus, please be discreet with the wine. ***

PLEASE RSVP: by Monday, March 9, if you are attending so we know how many to expect and can have reusable name tags ready AND so your name can be included in the 2026 shell ceremony bulletin. Thank you!
