Athens, GA: Atlanta Chapter, May Hike of the Month
Join us for a beautiful 5 mile hike on the White Trail of Georgia’s official botanical garden in Athens.
Deborah Gonzalez will be leading us on a hike at The GA State Botanical Gardens in Athens. We’ll walk 5 miles on the White Trail to experience a wide range of native plants, trees and wildlife. The spring timing will be ideal for vibrant flowers and returning migratory birds. We’ll also have river views. This hike can accomodate various difficulty levels as you can decide whether to continue by the river or head back up to the Botanical Gardens away from the trails. After the hike, we’ll gather for a fun lunch at Carli N Tito’s.
