Mt. Berry, GA: Atlanta Chapter, April Hike of the Month

Get ready to conquer Mount Berry with us in April – it’s the hike of the month you won’t want to miss!
Russ Perry will be leading us on a hike at Berry Mountain – Mountain Goat Loop and the House of Dreams. This beautiful scenic trail follows the Oostanaula River with views of rolling hills, cattle, beaver, blue herons, a scenic pond, and birds. In the fall, visitors enjoy expanded views of the river.

WHAT: November group hike

WHEN: Saturday April 4th, 8:00 am

WHO: All are invited!

DISTANCE OF HIKE: 7 miles roundtrip, moderate walk on dirt/gravel footpaths

WHERE: 2277 Martha Berry Hwy, Mt. Berry, GA 30149

PARKING: Free

MEETING POINT: Meet at the Welcome Center (Main Gate) at 8:00 am. We will be leaving from there at 8 am sharp and driving together down to Friendship Hall (parking lot directly across from the hall), and begin hiking at 8:30 am.
