Tarrytown NY: NYC Chapter, Mario Cuomo Bridge New Years Day Caminito

The NYC Chapter will be welcoming 2026 with a first day walk/caminito over the Mario Cuomo (New Tappan Zee) Bridge. Taking the 9:25 Hudson line train from Grand Central Terminal to Tarrytown, arriving at 10:18 (regular fare is $11.25) for a 10:30 start on 1/1/26 (rain date is 1/3/26). What to bring: Some day hike essentials such as gatorade, water, hot drink, lunch/snacks, sunblock, cold weather gear, walking shoes/boots, walking stick, cash. Please use the WC facilities at Grand Central and on the train. There will be facilities at either bridge landing. Please exercise caution when walking on the bridge. Be aware of bikes and other pedestrian traffic both oncoming and in the same lane. Stay warm and hydrated. Walk on the designated path/lane/trail.
