Brooklyn, NY: New York City Chapter, Brooklyn Caminito

A Walk In Brooklyn, NY highlighting Prospect Park and Greenwood Cemetery, both historic open spaces in Kings County AKA Brooklyn! The caminito will last 4 to 5 hours covering 6 to 7 miles. Please meet at 9:30 outside the Brooklyn Museum on Saturday, 6/28 (rain date 6/29). Take the 2/3 subway lines to the Brooklyn Museum/Eastern Parkway station. Getting there by mass transit is encouraged. Parking may be available on local streets or behind the Brooklyn Museum (information for parking – Museum and Botanic Garden – GGMC Parking). Please bring water, snacks and sunscreen. The Walk is linear, not a loop, we will end near the R, F and G subway lines. The terrain is mostly flat, but hilly in some areas. Optional late lunch/social hour after the walk.
