Tulsa, OK: Okies on Camino, Lecture: Why do we walk?

Why do we walk? What is it about the Camino that calls us to do it? What is it about this experience that inspires us to cast forth into the unknown, trusting our bodies to carry us through the wind and rain, trudging through the mud, up and down mountains when we could just as easily be lying on a beach in Ibiza or casually strolling through the tulip fields in Holland? While the reasons we are called to the Camino can often be unique, this casual lecture will attempt to unearth some of the reasons more people than ever are trading their roller bags for a backpack and hitting the trail.
