DESCRIPTION: The Camino Francigena connects Canterbury Cathedral in northern England to Rome and Jerusalem. The Gruppo Dei Dodici has been trying to popularize and promote the lightly used section between Naples and Rome by, among other things, holding a once-a-year International Walk. Four Albuquerque Pilgrims participated in the walk this year. They had a wonderful time and were treated extremely well by the Gruppo, visiting historical sites and churches, walking with pilgrims from around the world and, of course, eating great Italian food! Come hear about our experiences and learn more about how you could participate. Steve may sneak in a few photos of the Dolomites which he visited prior to the walk.

We’ll begin the evening with a potluck of light finger foods (nothing too complicated, please) from 5:30-5:50. Please arrive 15 minutes early if you can so we can set out the food and get everyone checked in. We’ll begin the Wine Tasting, which lasts about 20 minutes, when folks are settled with their plates. The presentation will last approximately one hour, and there will be time for questions at the end.
