Pinckney, MI: Southeast Michigan Chapter, Hike and Lunch

Southeast Michigan Chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino
Chapter Member Kim Wilkinson will lead us on this hike.

The hike is approximately an 8.5 mile loop, and will include a lunch stop at the 6.5 mile mark in Hell, Michigan. The trail and length are considered moderate, with some challenging elevation changes. There will be opportunities for short rest breaks along the trail.

The address should take you to the parking lot, look for the yellow way markers (arrow signs) – where we will gather before the hike.
There is a large sign at the park entrance indicating Pinckney Recreation Area. We will meet at the second parking lot and then walk to the trailhead a short distance away. There are the Silver Lake bathroom facilities located close by the trailhead,

You will need a Michigan DNR Recreation Passport Pass to park. If you don’t already have one, you can purchase a day pass at the gate or park office – about $10.
