Memphis, TN: Memphis Chapter, Camino de Santiago: The Norte and Portuguese Routes

Of the five major pilgrimage routes to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, the Camino Frances is the most famous and well-traveled. Please join our presentation of two lesser known but equally impressive Camino routes: the Camino de Norte and the Portuguese Central. The Norte is a coastal route through Northern Spain the hugs the ocean side with spectacular views both from the sea and from mountain hilltop vistas. There are quite a few interesting cities and towns along the way, including San Sebastian, Bilbao and Oviedo eventually leading to Santiago de Compostela. We will also include a presentation of the last 100k on the Portuguese Central route including the Spiritual Variante including the famous Rock and Water path.
