Litchfield Park, AZ:Valley of the Sun Chapter, Urban Park Walk

Benny will lead us on a 5-6 mile walk in Litchfield Park. We will walk through city parks, along a big pond and along a canal. Most of the walk is on wide, paved trails – perfect for talking Camino with experienced pilgrims. We’ll also take time to walk in a labyrinth along the way. This walk is reminiscent of various sections of the Camino. Benny and Ginny are very experienced pilgrims (including cycling to Santiago from Belgium and walking the Via Francigena). In addition Benny is the coordinator for the Puget Sound Chapter so we are lucky to have him winter here and lead this hike!

Afterwards there is a possibility to have lunch (and more talking) at the Park Cafe (opposite the library).

Bring: Sturdy walking shoes, plenty of water, sunscreen, hat and a snack if desired.

Facilities: There are restrooms and drinking water at the start.
