Hampton, VA: Southeast Virginia Chapter, Grandview Nature Preserve Walk

We will be walking the beautiful and highly rated Grandview Nature Preserve in Hampton, VA. It is a 6.0-mile out-and-back trail. Generally considered an easy route, it takes an average of 1 h 44 min to complete. This is a popular trail for birding, hiking, and walking and beautiful to visit anytime.

The walk will be on gravel and sand. A gravel road leads visitors on a half mile tour of tidal marshlands and then to miles of white sand beach. Anyone who wants to extend this route a couple more miles can walk along the beach all the way to Factory Point.
