Spokane, WA: Spokane Chapter, Tubbs Hill Summit Hike

We will meet at the East Tubbs Hill Park Trailhead at 9:15am and start walking at 9:30am. The difficulty is moderate with a vertical gain of 383 feet along 2.8 miles over approximately 1.5 hours. Please be mindful of chilly conditions and possible ice on the trail; layers, trekking poles, and even microspikes may be helpful. There will be a coffee meet-up following the hike at Union Roasters (2102 N 4th Street, CdA).

Directions to reach the East trail head for Tubbs Hill: Take exit 12 off I-90 in CDA. From the exit drive south on US 95 for 0.9 mile to Northwest Boulevard. Head southeast (left) on Northwest Boulevard for 1 mile to Sherman Avenue. Turn left on Sherman Avenue and follow it to Ninth Street. Turn right on Ninth Street and follow it to Mullan. Turn left and go 2 blocks east on Mullan, then turn right on 10th Street and head southeast for 0.3 mile to East Tubbs Hill Park Trailhead. The total distance from I-90 is about 3 miles. No parking fees or permits required.
