Phoenix, AZ: Valley of the Sun Chapter, Mormon National Loop & Coffee

Total distance: 5.6 miles & moderate (option B: 2.6 miles easy out & back hike); Elevation gain: 600 ft (option B: 188 ft)

Time: 2.5-3 hours; the hike will begin at 8:15; come early (7:30 ish) to chill and visit over coffee.

This moderate hike is so close to the city but feels like you are a million miles away. We will start on the Pima Canyon trail which is a wide fire road. We will stop at two (2) hidden petroglyph sites on the way to Mormon Trail in a counter-clockwise loop to National Trail where we will return to Pima Canyon.

There is water & restrooms at the trailhead. Bring poles, hat, plenty of water and a snack.

All our hikes and activities are planned & led by volunteers and donations are appreciated to support the chapter.
