Salem, MA: Boston Chapter, Salem-Marblehead Rail Loop Walk – CANCELED

Local pilgrim Steve Butterworth has offered to lead a hike on the Salem-Marblehead Rail Trail.

The hike will be 7.2 miles total (Paved sidewalks – 2.3 / Gravel trail – 4.3 / Dirt path through conservation area at Forest River – 0.6). Mostly level ground. About 3 hours.

Meet at the paved rail trail behind Starbucks at 144 Canal St., Salem, MA.  There are customer restrooms nearby at McDonald’s and Dunkin’.

Parking is available at the nearby Salem State University lot.
