San Antonio, TX: Alamo Chapter, Eisenhower Park Hike & Coffee

Chapter Hike & Coffee: Join your fellow pilgrim friends at Eisenhower Park for a 5-mile hike followed by (optional) refreshments at Merit Coffee. There is no need to RSVP.

Eisenhower Park 19339 NW Military Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78257

Parking: Park near the entrance from NW Military, as we will all meet there prior to departing on the hike.

Route description: This is a moderate-level hike that includes natural and paved trails with moderate hills. Hike leader, Karen Kiser, will take us on a 5-mile hike that includes Hillview, Red Oak, Yucca, and Cedar Flats trails. We will hike as a group, which will provide us with a great opportunity for Camino conversations.

Post-hike get-together: After the walk, we’ll take a short drive to Merit Coffee, located at 24175 IH10, Suite #110, San Antonio, 78257. If you can’t make the walk but would like to join us for a coffee/tea, we’ll be there around 10am.

As always, remember your sun screen and water! And no dogs allowed, except for service dogs.
