Plant City, FL: Tampa Bay Chapter, Creek Nature Preserves

Ok Folks this is the real deal, we are walking 7 miles.

Join Tampa Bay American Pilgrims for a NEW nature hike. Please be advised the group must stay together and we will stop and take a 10-15 minute break after 2 hrs. I need a volunteer to take of the tale end and a volunteer to take the middle. If you are taking up the tale end and someone needs to rest or is ill you will need to stay with them, and call Sandra to let her know what is going on so that we can stop and wait for you.

Start time 8:30am

Please bring your back packs and hydration packs, snacks, lunch and bring a garbage bag to dispose of your snack wrappers. There are not bathrooms so bring a garbage bag and wipes incase you have to go wee.

Please hydrate well the day before and bring plenty of water and a sun hat.
PARKING will be announced before the event.

Gear Recommended- Trekking poles, hiking shoes/boots. Bug spray all welcome! Tampa Chapter Patches will be available.
If you have questions about the Camino, come and meet with fellow past or future pilgrims to talk about the Camino and learn from experienced individuals.
Covid19 guidelines- if you have been around anyone that has tested positive, or if you are not feeling well, please do not attend. Bring a mask if you have not been vaccinated.
