Join us on a Spring hike in the beautiful Proud Lake Recreation Area. Meet at 10 a.m. and we start our hike at 10:15 a.m. The park is six (6) miles North of I-96, exit 159, and three (3) miles Southeast of Milford. A Michigan State Park pass is required for parking in the recreation area. Entrance to the area where we hike is on the East side of Wixom Road almost directly across from Garden Road. Proceed to the parking area beyond park headquarters. Look for the yellow arrow at the entrance to the lot where we will park and meet. This is an easy, mostly level, dirt pathway in a beautiful area of Michigan. There are no water fountains so remember to bring your water! We hope you will come and walk with us and talk about camino “stuff”!
