When I first walked this hike I thought of you all – a little of the Portuguese, a little of the Frances – but all Tucson. So here is the scoop – it is an out and back which starts in the center of Summerhaven. Total distance is just shy of 6 miles with 1200…

This is a very scenic 4.6 miles loop with 800′ of elevation gain. Afterwards, for those who would like to join, we will have lunch at “Coyote Pause Cafe,” which is about 4 miles away, on Kinney Rd.

Meet at the base of the Hill on W. Anlam Rd, just across the street from St Mary’s Hospital. It’s a steep 3.5 miles round trip; a good cardio workout! We usually go for coffee afterwards.

This is a 7.5-mile round trip with some elevation. Bring plenty of water and a snack for when we pause at the top to rest.
