Join us on Saturday, November 16 as we hike at Morrow Mountain State Park. Plan to arrive by 9:45am for a 10:00am step-off time. We’ll start together on the Morrow Mountain Trail with a turn-around just short of the 3-mile mark, for a total hike of 5.7 miles. This should be considered a moderately strenuous. For those seeking a little more mileage, we can continue on the Mountain Loop, adding some elevation and an additional strenuous mile to the total. We should have mild fall temperatures and plenty of color left in the tree canopy. This is a natural-surface trail. As always on natural trails, hiking poles are encouraged.
Bring a snack and join us after the hike for a picnic lunch at the Visitors Center.
