Jenny and Steve Dudley will lead the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter on a 4.5 mile walk along Seabrook Trail.
Free parking at Friendship Park. We will meet near rest rooms.
Views: Mostly wetland marshes ending with shoreline view. Industrial complexes on the horizon. This trail is part of the Clear Lake Loop of the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail. Jenny and Steve saw cardinals, great blue herons, dozens of great egrets and snowy egrets roosting in trees, a tri-colored heron, and a yellow-crowned night heron. They also saw a large bunny rabbit and heard an alligator growing. Stay away from the edge of the pond!
