Scottsdale AZ: Valley of the Sun Chapter, Holiday Hot Chocolate Walk

4:15 – Hot Chocolate and Holiday Raffle –

If the forecast calls for ‘Baby It’s Cold Outside’, we will bundle up and pretend we are experiencing a ‘White Christmas’ while we enjoy hot chocolate, holiday treats.

5:15 – Canal Walk to Scottsdazzle

We will begin our 3 mile walk at 5:15ish (just before sunset), to experience this bit of Fall and enjoy looking at the homes along the canal. We will get on the Crosscut Canal near the Paiute Community Center and walk to the Arizona Canal where we will head East toward Scottsdale Fashion Square.

We will pause for a bit at the Canal to check all the seasonal boxes and take in Scottsdazzle’s pop-up vendors, holiday lights and bands. The decorations are sure to put you in the Holiday spirit (if your hot chocolate didn’t). On our way back, we will feel the Holiday spirit as Christmas lights adorn many of those same mansions. For those interested in making a night of it, Tapas Papa Fritas is a Spanish-themed restaurant but just one of many restaurants in the area to choose from.
