Location

Pima Dynamite Trailhead (28777 North Pima Rd). Pima Road just north of Dynamite. It is the first right into the parking lot after the traffic light at Dynamite.

This is the first hike in the series of 4 back to back hikes to help you dial in your gear and/or fitness. The hike will depart from the Pima Dynamite Trailhead and walk north on Hawksnest to the junction with Browns Ranch Road which will be the turn around point. This is an easy rolling granite path. There are restrooms with water at the trailhead.

Total distance: 10 miles moderate (no shade); Elevation gain: ~300 ft

Time: 4-5 hours due to length, snack/lunch break and photo opps.

BRING: Sturdy walking shoes, water (at least 2 liters), a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, snacks/lunch if desired. Walking sticks are not required but recommended.

Please stay home if you are sick or not feeling well. No dogs due to chapter liability.
All hikes are lead by chapter volunteers and donations are appreciated to support chapter activities (ie, shell ceremonies, marketing, etc.)
