San Marcos, CA: San Diego Chapter, Walnut Grove Park Hike and Wine

Parking: Park near the Williams Barn on the back side of the park. Follow signs to Heritage Park Museum. We’ll meet in front of the bathroom building in between the barn and the heritage museum.

Route description: We’ll follow the natural horse paths around the park and surrounding neighborhoods. This is a 95% flat walk, with one leisurely incline at the midpoint.
Wine: After the walk, we’ll take a 3-minute drive to Sunshine Mountain Vineyard. If you can’t make the walk but would like to join us for a glass of wine, we’ll be there right at noon when they open.

Meeting time in the Walnut Grove Park parking lot: 9:15am
Walk begins: 9:30am
