Come join the Silicon Valley Chapter for a Shell Ceremony and Blessing for Pilgrims walking the Camino for the first time in 2020. The scallop shell is a symbol of the Camino de Santiago. Wearing a shell denotes that one is a pilgrim, so pilgrims often attach a shell to their backpack or wear one around their neck during their Camino. All are welcome! Pilgrims walking the Camino for the first time will receive a shell. We’ll all enjoy a potluck after the ceremony, so please bring a dish to share. If you have your credential, bring it as well and we’ll stamp your credential with our chapter stamp!
