San Antonio, TX: Alamo Chapter, Lady Bird Johnson Park/Salado Creek Greenway Hike

When: Saturday, February 17 from 8:30 am-10:45 am – meet @ 8:30 am; hike begins @ 8:45 am; Optional post-hike meal @ 11:00 am

Details: Moderate 6-mile out and back walk from the Park, along the Salado Creek Greenway, across the Boardwalk, to McAllister Park & return. Park in the paved lot at the back of the park. Weather is predicted to be mild & cloudy; our walk will be in the open. Portable restrooms at start & turnaround.
Optional post-walk meal: 11am at Fidelo’s Mexican Restaurant, 10929 Nacogdoches Rd.
Remember all your stuff: water, snacks, sunscreen, hat, personal first aid kit, trekking poles– all the normal things you usually take on a hike.
